Job Title: Assembly Worker

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will utilize various hand tools, power tools, and small machinery to perform assembly tasks according to Standard Work Documentation, Manufacturing Instructions, and Quality Plans. This role offers the opportunity to engage in electrical assembly and soldering, depending on your experience.

Responsibilities

+ Perform assembly tasks using hand and power tools.

+ Follow Standard Work Documentation and Manufacturing Instructions.

+ Test bearings by running them through thread rolls.

+ Assemble actuators for equipment like Bobcat and Mercury Marine.

+ Lift and handle products weighing 30 lbs or less.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with packaging, hand, and power tools.

+ Inspection and mechanical assembly skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.

+ Experience in environments requiring step-by-step direction following.

+ Mechanical inclination and soldering experience are beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit environment with small team settings. The first shift runs from 7:00am to 3:30pm, and the second shift from 3:30pm to 12:00am. Training for second shift candidates will be conducted on the first shift for two weeks. Candidates are required to start on Mondays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntley, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
