Savage is looking for a new Team Member to safely and efficiently transfer petroleum coke from the coke pit to a material handling system that will feed the Gasifier Unit inside Coffeyville Resource’s refinery using various types of material handling equipment.

+ Must have a strong commitment to safety

+ Must understand the importance of customer service

+ Must be a strong communicator

+ Must be a solid team player

+ Must be willing to do any task(s) that require(s) attention

+ Willingness to learn new skills is required

+ Some maintenance experience is helpful

+ Experience working with front end loaders is beneficial

+ Must work safely at all times

+ Must possess at least a valid Class B CDL, Class A CDL preferred

+ Must be able to read, write and understand English

+ Must have basic math skills

+ Must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions

+ Must be able to operate a 10 wheel dump truck and understands all controls involved in the dump truck operation

+ Must be able to operate a variety of equipment (excavator, front end loader, Skid steer, etc.)

+ Must be able to pass a written and skills test on the type of equipment that he or she will be operating

+ Must be willing to help with maintenance, clean-up, and anything else that requires attention, as directed by the Operation Manager or lead operator

+ Must be reliable

+ Must wear required PPE

+ Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times

+ Must be willing to comply with Savage’s personal appearance policy

Physical Requirements:

+ Driver/Operator will work outdoors everyday and as a result will be exposed to the elements

+ Driver/Operator must be physically able to climb in and out of the equipment, ascend and descend ladders and steps and should not have a fear of heights

+ Driver/Operator must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

+ Must have the ability to use basic hand tools
