Job Title: Structural Fitter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Structural Fitter to join our expanding team, focusing on a new product line of skid-mounted data center racks. This role involves fitting channels and I-Beams using blueprints and requires expertise in Mig and Flux-core tacking.
Responsibilities
+ Fit and assemble channels and I-Beams according to blueprints.
+ Perform tacking and preparation of materials independently.
+ Utilize Mig and Flux-core welding techniques effectively.
+ Ensure accuracy and quality in all fitting and assembly tasks.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Structural Fitting.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Proficient in Mig and Flux-core tacking.
+ Capability to fit up and tack independently.
+ Possession of personal tools for the job.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in structure fabrication and skid work is advantageous.

Work Environment
The role is set in a medium-sized shop, working with a team of experienced fitters. The working hours are divided into two shifts: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) and 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
