Job Title: Automated Inspection Technician

Job Description

The role involves performing accurate automated inspections of assemblies in production mode, which includes shutdowns and startups. Regular surface mount soldering inspection will be a key task. Reporting any discrepancies to group leads and discontinuing the production line if errors are found is crucial. Accurate record-keeping is essential, and candidates must be comfortable working with a microscope.

Responsibilities

+ Perform automated inspections of assemblies in production mode.

+ Conduct regular surface mount soldering inspections.

+ Report any discrepancies to group leads and discontinue production line if errors are found.

+ Maintain accurate records.

+ Work proficiently with a microscope.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in inspection and soldering.

+ Knowledge of wiring schematics and quality control.

+ Familiarity with surface mount technology and electronic inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in electronics or machine operation in electrical or medical fields.

+ Direct Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) experience is highly valued.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
