Job Title:** **Shipping and Receiving Worker

**Location:** Virginia Beach, VA

**Shift:** First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:15 PM)

About the Role

Join a trusted leader in high-voltage polymer insulator manufacturing, operating since 1965. We’re looking for a **reliable, detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Worker** to help keep our warehouse running smoothly. What You’ll Do

+ Receive and inspect incoming shipments; verify contents against purchase orders.

+ Prepare, pack, and label outgoing products to meet customer and company standards.

+ Update inventory systems, perform cycle counts, and assist with transfers.

+ Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move materials.

+ Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records and coordinate with logistics and production teams.

+ Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

+ Test and verify products from OEM partners before adding to inventory.

What We’re Looking For

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ 1–2 years of warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred.

+ Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Non-climate-controlled production facility (can get hot in summer).

+ Water allowed at your workstation.

+ First shift: 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
