    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Worker where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient loading of rail cars. This position involves general housekeeping and light maintenance tasks, contributing to a clean and organized work environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a standard work schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays.

    Responsibilities

    + Load rail cars safely and efficiently.

    + Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    + Conduct light maintenance tasks, including basic painting and minor repairs as needed.

    + Support other site operations as directed by the supervisor.

    + Regularly lift up to 80 lbs.

    + Engage in a lot of bending and standing.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with general labor and manual labor.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools.

    + Ability to load rail cars and handle concrete materials.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders.

    + Ability to work below ground in the shop environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is outdoors and non-climate controlled, requiring layers of clothing and the use of safety helmets, glasses, and steel-toed boots. It is a dusty environment due to dry cement, and you will be involved in general housekeeping within the shop. The position requires checking and maintaining outdoor silos and working in areas that extend below the ground.

    This is a Contract position based out of Aliquippa, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
