Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. This role involves handling and processing products in a fast-paced food production facility, ensuring quality and efficiency in our operations.

Responsibilities

+ Read ingredients and count how many bags are on a pallet.

+ Place scoops in cans, jars, and buckets, and secure lids onto these containers.

+ Stack bags and cans of products as they come off the various production lines.

+ Seal bags and cans of products as they come off the production lines.

+ Bag products as they come off the production lines.

+ Dump bags of product into the appropriate equipment on the various production lines.

Essential Skills

+ General production experience

+ Ability to lift bags weighing between 1-100 lbs.

+ Experience with bagging, quality control, and production

+ Knowledge of general labor, forklift operation, and machine operation

+ Skills in packaging, inspection, packing, and machine operating

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in food production facilities is a plus

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Commitment to safety and quality standards

Work Environment

Our work environment is a food production facility where safety is a priority. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including a safety hat, hair net, glasses, jacket, pants, and steel-toed boots. The facility handles powder-based food products, so employees must be comfortable with food particles in the air in certain areas. Uniforms are provided and must be worn from head to toe. Shifts available include Monday through Thursday, with 1st shift from 5:45 am to 4:15 pm and 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 4:00 am, including a $2 differential for the 2nd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.45 - $20.45/hr.
