    Job Description

    As a Sanitation Worker on our 3rd shift, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our equipment. You will be responsible for sanitizing filling machines after production runs, which includes disassembling and cleaning components such as pumps, valves, and hoppers using water and mineral water, and then reassembling them. You will also need to read production reports to determine the next product run and prepare the necessary equipment accordingly.

    Responsibilities

    + Sanitize filling machines after product runs.

    + Disassemble and clean pumps, valves, and hoppers.

    + Reassemble cleaned components efficiently.

    + Read production reports to prepare for the next product run.

    + Clean and troubleshoot belt systems, escalating issues to mechanics when necessary.

    + Lift up to 100 pounds with the assistance of a lifting device.

    + Create and close orders in the MP2 computer system.

    + Document training using Master Control.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in sanitation, industrial cleaning, or production settings.

    + Ability to sanitize equipment effectively.

    + Competency in using MP2 computer system and Master Control for documentation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the food industry, particularly meat packing, pharmaceuticals, or personal care products is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a temperature-controlled, GMP-compliant production environment. The role requires a fast-paced approach with standing throughout the shift. Safety attire including hair nets, beard guards, safety glasses, and ear protection is mandatory. Personal items must be stored in a locker provided on your first day, though you can carry a clear bag containing essentials like a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.24/hr.
