Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator responsible for operating the dry machine. This role involves preparing and weighing raw materials, loading them into the drying machine, and monitoring operation status. The operator will be tasked with scraping powder residue, loading powder, sealing and loading drums onto pallets, and conducting routine quality checks to ensure product specifications are met. Additional duties include wrapping pallets, moving them to storage, completing documentation, and maintaining cleanliness of the machinery and work area.
Responsibilities
+ Operate the dry machine by preparing and weighing raw materials and loading them into the machine.
+ Monitor operation status, including vibration and amperage, throughout the process.
+ Scrape powder residue from the machine and load powder into drums.
+ Seal and load drums onto pallets, potentially handling up to four lots per day.
+ Perform Limit of Detection (LOD) measurements.
+ Wrap pallets and move them to storage.
+ Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
+ Maintain cleanliness of machinery, equipment, drums, and floors.
+ Monitor machine cycle time and performance.
+ Conduct routine quality checks to ensure products meet quality specifications.
+ Use gauges, weight scales, and calipers to collect product specifications.
+ Accurately read process procedures and protocols and record data meticulously.
+ Perform other duties as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as a Machine Operator in a production environment.
+ Proficiency in machine operation, process batching, and cleanroom protocols.
+ Familiarity with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions.
+ Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, and division.
+ Experience with documentation and batch recording.
+ Capability to perform set up, tear down, and light maintenance on machines.
+ Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Forklift operation skills.
+ Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jurupa Valley, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
