Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role requires an individual with expertise in corporate tax processes, compliance, and strategic tax planning. You will play a critical role in overseeing tax provisions, managing filings, and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review annual income tax provisions to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.

• Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx to manage tax processes efficiently and accurately.

• Oversee sales tax filings and ensure timely submissions.

• Handle corporate tax return preparation and ensure accuracy in reporting.

• Support entity formation processes by addressing tax considerations and compliance requirements.

• Provide strategic advice on tax planning and optimization strategies.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to address complex tax issues.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments.

• Manage audits and correspondence with tax authorities to resolve inquiries.

• Ensure all tax-related documentation is properly maintained and filed securely. Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate tax management and compliance.

• Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and filing procedures.

• Expertise in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns.

• Familiarity with entity formation processes and related tax implications.

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex tax legislation.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
