Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Torrance, California. As part of a dynamic manufacturing company, you will play an integral role in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term career development.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate accounts receivable records to ensure financial integrity.

• Process customer payments promptly and accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded properly.

• Investigate and resolve chargebacks and discrepancies on invoices with attention to detail.

• Adjust accounts as necessary to reflect accurate financial data.

• Collaborate with team members to collect overdue balances and ensure timely payments.

• Handle debit and credit memos efficiently to maintain account accuracy.

• Support month-end closing activities by preparing relevant financial documentation.

• Perform additional accounting tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the manager. Requirements • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role.

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with Oracle or Dynamics systems is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Experience with deductions, chargebacks, cash applications, and commercial collections.
