Description We are looking for an experienced Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Pendergrass, Georgia. In this role, you will oversee critical financial operations such as month-end close, cost and inventory accounting, payroll, and cash management within a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise while supporting the team during a crucial phase.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring all financial statements and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.

• Oversee cost and inventory accounting to maintain accurate financial records and insights into production costs.

• Supervise payroll operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Monitor cash management activities, including forecasting and ensuring adequate liquidity.

• Provide financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with different departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting of manufacturing costs.

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls in all financial activities.

• Assist the team in navigating transitional periods by providing financial expertise and leadership.

• Serve as a key advisor on financial matters within the plant and divisional operations. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or controllership roles, preferably within manufacturing.

• Strong expertise in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Proven knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.

• Experience in manufacturing cost accounting and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in cash management and payroll processes.

• Familiarity with accounting standards and internal control practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
