Management Company Lead – Venture Capital Finance Transformation

This is a strategic role where you’ll lead the evolution of a QuickBooks and Google Sheets-driven process into a modern, scalable accounting and FP& A infrastructure. As Management Company Lead, you’ll oversee day-to-day financial operations while spearheading major initiatives, including accounting system implementation and process automation. You’ll collaborate across teams, manage budgets, and ensure financial excellence in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

What You’ll Do

+ Manage core financial operations: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, financial statements, and FP& A

+ Prepare and update global consolidated budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses

+ Automate expense allocation processes and improve AP/AR workflows

+ Lead selection and implementation of new accounting and FP& A software

+ Drive efficiency through outsourcing and process optimization

+ Partner with stakeholders across the organization to balance business needs and financial discipline

What We’re Looking For

+ 5–10+ years of accounting experience, ideally in alternative investments or related fields

+ CPA or equivalent certification preferred

+ Proven experience with accounting system implementation and process improvement

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle operational accounting

+ Excellent communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities

+ Commercial mindset with strong organizational and analytical skills
