Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position where you will play a vital role in managing billing processes and payment applications while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:

• Process and oversee all billing activities to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.

• Record and apply incoming payments to appropriate accounts.

• Manage and update the billing system, including handling card-related transactions.

• Conduct regular reviews and audits to maintain the accuracy of financial records.

• Create and maintain spreadsheets to track data and support reporting needs.

• Perform data entry tasks to ensure comprehensive and updated account information.

• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing and payment processes.

• Provide clerical support, including filing, document preparation, and other administrative duties.

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies regarding financial data. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable functions, including billing and payment processing.

• Familiarity with cash applications and commercial collections processes.

• Proficiency in handling credit card transactions and related billing functions.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing clerical duties.

• Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting.

• Effective communication skills to address account discrepancies and collaborate with teams.

• Working knowledge of accounting software and systems.

• Commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in all financial processes.
