    JOB TITLE: Cashier

     

    JOB LOCATION: Rexburg, ID

     

    STATUS: Full Time

     

    FUNCTION: Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in locating products and efficiently processing sales at the register.

    KEY ACTIVITIES:

    + Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.

    + Provide high-quality customer service, demonstrating concern and patience in all customer interactions.

    + Maintain a positive, motivated attitude in the workplace.

    + Receive payment for customer purchases and accounts.

    + Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions.

    + Maintain cash drawer and assume accountability for all cash, checks, and invoices.

    + Perform inventory counts as needed.

    + Replenish displays and shelves as needed.

    + Maintain a clean and professional working environment.

    + Attend and participate in all Company sponsored training programs as required.

    + Adhere to all safety protocols and Company policies and procedures.

    + Perform any other duties, responsibilities or tasks as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    + Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

    + Basic math skills to calculate prices and provide accurate change.

    + Basic computer navigation skills.

    + Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks.

    + Provide regular and predictable attendance.

    + Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    + Prior cashier/retail experience a plus.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    + Physical Work - Medium: exerting up to 25 lbs. of force regularly.

    + Repetitive motion associated with operating a register and other retail equipment.

    + Frequent bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting required.

    + Ability to communicate with customers and team members verbally.
