Position Summary:
Administrative Director for the Pediatrics clinic located in East Boston. Under the direction of the Vice President of Health Center Operation, the Administrative Director is responsible for the performance of the assigned ambulatory clinic. Responsible for health center initiatives against key health center goals, volume, access, employee and patient experience. Works with the Administrative Directors and Medical Directors to develop and manage cross-cutting initiatives that improve performance. Provides direction and support to operations manager in assessing, planning, implementing and sustaining change and improvement in their respective practice or service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ In collaboration with the Vice President of Health Center Operations, develop and implement changes to clinical workflows and practices to support the department’s efficiency.
+ Provide support and structure through a project life cycle.
+ Design, implement, and oversee the department’s performance improvement efforts.
+ Manage the department's clinical and on-call schedules; responsible for ensuring adequate coverage for all clinical sessions.
+ Directs the efficient and effective use of service operations through optimal use of resources.
Qualifications and Requirements:
+ BS degree in health care or business administration required, Master's preferred.
+ Minimum of 5-7 years of healthcare experience, specialty in pediatrics, as well as supervisory experience.
+ Previous practice management skills.
Skills & Abilities:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong computer skills.
Salary:
+ Starting at $125,008.00 and up to $206,128.00 based on experience.
