Senior Data Integration Engineer - SWHR Analytics - Texas Health Partners

Work Location: Texas Health Partners, Remote: 612 East Lamar Boulevard TX 76011
Work Hours: Full Time Days (8:00am-5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week (remote work allowed at manager's discretion with onsite presence as required)

What You Will Do
Collaborates with business, analysts and SMEs to rapidly develop and refine data integration, analysis, organization and management solutions using IBM Cloud Pak® for Data, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata and Unix scripting. Mentors other data engineers through design reviews, providing feedback on performance, scalability and adherence to standards. 30%
Spearheads work with business sponsors, SMES and application teams; leads the work to understand the business requirements; analyze and assess availability, quality, and lineage of source system data. Design, map data from source to target and develop data integration solutions that meet business needs. Develop and socialize data integration standards. 25%
Partners with business, analysts, BI/BPA teams, application teams and other stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement production data integration solutions that are fully integrated into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Ensuring model design solves the end users need. 20%
Support production Data Warehouse applications and utilize tools to proactively manage source system changes, optimize applications and ensure availability, accuracy, security, and acceptable performance. Contributes information to the data governance software to improve knowledge downstream. 15%
Comply with SWHR/THR information security and privacy policies, ITSM processes and Data Integration development and design standards and best practices. Work with business to ensure standards and best practices are meeting the business needs. Follow data governance requirements and documentation including but not limited to business definitions, technical definition, and may function as data SME. 5%
Cultivates interrelationships among partners and customers and analysts who have similar information needs and manages those relationships to assure effective solutions. Mentor and train business stakeholders, analysts and inform consumers on data, business intelligence-related technology and information assets. Function as a SME for the business and analysts on technical questions and capabilities. Able to fully comprehend and concisely articulate the overall system functions while having full focus on the intricate details of all aspects of the application and platform. 5%
What You Need:
Education
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or
relevant field.

Master's Degree Business Administration, Information Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or
relevant field. Pref
Experience
6 Years Working as an Data Integration Engineer or Data Integration Production Support Engineer. Combined with:
- continuous experience developing ETL with IBM Infosphere Data Stage (may consider those with 6 years of Informatica experience)
- continuous experience using Teradata Database (may consider those with 6 years of Oracle or SQL Server experience)
- continuous experience developing SQL and able to demonstrate advanced queries, create tables, views, indexes, joins
- experience developing Unix scrips and integration with enterprise scheduling tools?
with Bachelor's degree Req or
3 Years Working as an Data Integration Engineer or Data Integration Production Support Engineer. Combined with:
- continuous experience developing ETL with IBM Infosphere Data Stage (may consider those with 3 years of Informatica experience)
- continuous experience using Teradata Database (may consider those with 3 years of Oracle or SQL Server experience)

Experience working in healthcare or related field. Pref **Skills** Expertise with interviewing and gathering business requirements, definition and design of data source and data flows, data quality analysis, and working with the data architect on the development of logical data models.
Proficient using Infosphere/DataStage ETL software.
Proficient with Teradata and using SQL to query, create tables, views, indexes, joins.
Proficient using Unix scripting and scheduling tools.
Experience with the SDLC, ITSM and privacy and security concepts.
Able to take on multiple projects concurrently and manage changes in scope along the way.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with focus on concise, cohesive, critical HRO focused communication with vendors, business users, and executives.
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplined project teams to consistent rapid delivery while driving an aggressive schedule, identifying all impacts and proposing resolutions. **Supervision** Individual Contributor **ADA Requirements** Working Indoors 67% or more **Physical Demands** Sedentary
