Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to provide analysis and business consulting services within our clinical departments. This role involves answering questions, completing ad hoc reports, and supporting various divisions. The position requires collaboration with administrative and clinical staff to identify process redesign opportunities that reduce costs or maximize revenue.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain institutional performance dashboards to report actual performance against financial, process, and resource management goals.
+ Fulfill complex report requests from organizational leaders, requiring problem-solving and consulting skills.
+ Act as a system analyst, developing new analyses, reports, and dashboards to meet changing reporting needs.
+ Perform monthly quality assurance reviews on data to ensure accuracy, identify issues, and collaborate with departments to resolve them.
+ Prepare financial modeling to justify and create proformas for provider or clinical staff recruitment.
+ Train and educate end users on reporting tools and collaborate with IT for further dashboard development.
+ Calculate and report on nursing or physician productivity, interpret financial performance, and provide improvement recommendations.
+ Produce monthly and annual complex ad-hoc requests and reports as needed.
+ Provide data, variance analysis, and consulting services for the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly DTOPS.
+ Support the development of financial forecasts related to provider volumes and nursing resources.
+ Collaborate with staff to evaluate opportunities for cost reduction or revenue maximization.
+ Prepare financial modeling for new clinical services and expansion, assisting in new program and business development.
+ Provide strategic cost and margin strategy development support, translating into budget and forecast assumptions.
+ Support strategic initiatives by modeling estimated financial impact and reporting results.
Essential Skills
+ Seven years of experience in financial analysis, healthcare finance, or business administration with a CPA. Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field or ten years of experience in healthcare financial analytics support roles.
+ Exceptional organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Familiarity with accounting procedures.
+ Strong quantitative, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.
+ Ability to react quickly to change.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with planning, budgeting, productivity, and forecasting systems.
+ Experience in financial analysis within a healthcare setting.
+ Ability to create complex financial models with multiple variables and assumptions.
+ Ability to think independently and demonstrate professional maturity.
+ Effective communication and credibility with all organizational levels.
+ Effective presentation skills.
Work Environment
The work environment is supportive, fostering growth and learning opportunities, with a focus on strategic initiatives and innovative solutions. The position reports to the Manager of Financial Analysis and Support. The work hours are 8.5 hours per day, with a 30-minute lunch, starting between 7am-9:15am. The dress code is business casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.98 - $47.66/hr.
