    Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing collections, claims, container/import documents, account reconciliation, and fines and penalties tracking. This position is key in ensuring the financial operations run smoothly and efficiently, meeting delinquency goals and resolving customer queries.

    Responsibilities

    + Meet or exceed delinquency goals by effectively managing collections.

    + Contact all assigned accounts to finalize full payment and record collection notes in Carixa.

    + Provide necessary documents to support balance dues and resolve customer queries.

    + Research and resolve open claims related to returns, freight, shortages, pricing, and penalties.

    + Issue credit or request repayment based on supporting documents.

    + Maintain communication with sales to address issues and seek assistance when needed.

    + Obtain and match SD invoices with shipment documents, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.

    + Balance daily cash and credit card receipts, identifying and correcting errors.

    + Verify fines and penalty tracker matches the general ledger at month end, requesting corrections as necessary.

    + Assist the Manager of Credit and others with special projects and cash forecasts.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in collections, credit, and accounts receivable.

    + Proficiency in ERP systems and financial analysis.

    + Strong skills in accounting, financial reporting, claims processing, and reconciliation.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

    + Smart, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new systems.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Four-year degree in Business or Accounting required, with a Master's Degree preferred.

    + Three years of commercial credit experience preferred.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cordova, TN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $45.00/hr.
