Job Title: Access Control Technician

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Access Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will:

+ Install, service, and repair mag locks, electric strikes, door hardware, and access control systems for commercial clients.

+ Maintain strong customer relationships by addressing concerns and providing excellent service.

+ Plan and execute security system installations, including site surveys, equipment layout, and wiring plans.

+ Test and troubleshoot access control and CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality.

+ Document all installation and service activities accurately.

Required Skills:

+ Hands-on experience with access control systems and mag locks.

+ Ability to install and program CCTV and alarm systems.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills.

+ Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with a variety of CCTV and alarm brands.

+ Knowledge of blueprint reading and wiring layouts.

+ OSHA 10 certification and lift training (boom/scissor).

+ Active Texas Alarm Install License.

Estamos buscando un Técnico de Control de Acceso con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo. En este puesto, usted:

+ Instalará, dará servicio y reparará cerraduras magnéticas, cerraduras eléctricas, herrajes de puertas y sistemas de control de acceso para clientes comerciales.

+ Mantendrá relaciones sólidas con los clientes resolviendo inquietudes y brindando un servicio excepcional.

+ Planificará e implementará instalaciones de sistemas de seguridad, incluyendo inspecciones del sitio, diseño del equipo y planes de cableado.

+ Probará y solucionará problemas en sistemas de control de acceso y CCTV para garantizar su correcto funcionamiento.

+ Documentará con precisión todas las actividades de instalación y servicio.

Habilidades Requeridas:

+ Experiencia práctica con sistemas de control de acceso y cerraduras magnéticas.

+ Capacidad para instalar y programar sistemas de CCTV y alarmas.

+ Fuertes habilidades para resolver problemas y atención al detalle.

+ Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y servicio al cliente.

+ Automotivado, organizado y capaz de trabajar de forma independiente.

Calificaciones Preferidas:

+ Experiencia con diversas marcas de CCTV y alarmas.

+ Conocimiento en lectura de planos y diseño de cableado.

+ Certificación OSHA 10 y entrenamiento en elevadores (boom/scissor).

+ Licencia activa para instalación de alarmas en Texas.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
