Job Title : Medical Assistant

Location : Thousand Oaks, CA 91360

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description :

As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for:

+ Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.

+ Recording patient medical histories and vital signs.

+ Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.

+ Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.

+ Performing basic laboratory tests and collecting specimens.

+ Providing patient education and instructions for follow-up care.

+ Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality.

+ Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

+ Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones and handling patient inquiries.

Qualifications :

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Completion of a Medical Assistant program- diploma or certification

+ Previous experience in a primary care or clinical setting is a plus.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thousand Oaks, CA 91360.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
