Job Posting: Patient Access Representative

Position: Patient Access Representative

Departments:

+ Pleasanton – Urgent Care

+ Dublin – Radiology

+ Livermore – Urgent Care

Pay Range: $30–$35 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

+ Flexible scheduling Monday–Sunday

+ Earliest start: 6:45 AM; latest end: 9–10 PM

+ Schedule provided 2–3 weeks in advance

+ 4 days off in a 14-day period

Contract: 6-month assignment with potential for permanent hire based on performance and business need

Start Date: Estimated 12/8 (or sooner upon completion of onboarding)

Compliance: Bg check and drug screening required

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide exceptional customer service

+ Answer phones and schedule appointments

+ Verify insurance for multiple carriers

+ Register patients and collect demographic information

+ Utilize EMR systems (Epic preferred but not required)

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting (Medical receptionist, front office medical assistant, registration rep, intake coordinator, Patient access rep, Patient service rep, etc.)

+ Strong skills in customer service, scheduling, insurance verification, and EMR usage

This is a Contract position based out of Pleasanton, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $35.00/hr.
