    Position Overview

    At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Manufacturing Engineering Co-op to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

    Responsibilities

    - Works as an entry level Manufacturing Engineer being trained by a full time Manufacturing Engineer.

     

    - Under supervision you will generate DWI's, create solutions for manufacturing issues, program various manufacturing equipment, design processes, improve part quality, improve operational efficiency, and other Manufacturing support tasks.

    Minimum Requirements

    - Enrollment in bachelor’s program with a focus in Engineering or a related field.

     

    - Experience contributing to a team in a fast-paced/comparative and/or self-directed environment.

     

    - Must be a US Person.

    Preferred Requirements

    - Participation in extracurricular activities.

    - Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively Presents numerical data effectively. Have the ability to work from the design for a product and develop processes for production, standards, and quality control.

    Physical Requirements

    - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear proper PPE.

     

    - Follow Boeing regulations for lifting.

     

    - Day shift.

     

    - Work onsite in Columbus, MS.
