About the Role

TEKsystems is partnering with a fortune 500 company in Milwaukee and are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join there IT team as an IT Support Specialist. This role is perfect for someone passionate about troubleshooting, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting modern workplace technologies—including conference room systems and Zoom.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.

+ Assist users with software installations, updates, and troubleshooting across Windows and macOS environments.

+ Support and maintain conference room technology, including:

+ Zoom Rooms setup and troubleshooting

+ AV equipment (projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras)

+ Room scheduling displays and integrations

+ Perform endpoint troubleshooting and assist with onboarding setups for laptops and mobile devices.

+ Manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) processes.

+ Respond to help desk tickets and escalated issues promptly.

+ Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions.

+ Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, including account setup and hardware provisioning.

+ Collaborate with IT team members to support network connectivity, printer issues, and basic system administration tasks.

+ Participate in inventory tracking and hardware lifecycle management.

Required Skills

+ Technical support and troubleshooting expertise

+ Strong customer service and communication skills

+ Experience with Windows 10/11, Office 365, Service Desk tools (ServiceNow preferred)

+ Familiarity with Zoom, conference room technology, and AV systems

+ Knowledge of Active Directory and help desk operations

Additional Qualifications

+ 3–5 years of IT troubleshooting experience, with emphasis on conference room technology

+ Basic understanding of IT support principles and troubleshooting techniques

+ Experience with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively

+ High attention to detail and willingness to learn

+ Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
