    We are looking for a Senior Area Sales Manager to join our Air & Water team, supporting the Gulf Coast region across Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. In this role, you will lead sales activities to expand our plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (PHVAC) wholesale distributor network while driving growth with existing partners. You will play a key role in achieving sales goals, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and third-party representatives to execute regional growth strategies.

    How You'll Create Possibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive sales of GE Appliances Air & Water products through prospecting, recruiting, and onboarding new PHVAC wholesale distributors.

    • Expand market presence by identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing customer partnerships to achieve sales and margin goals.

    • Collaborate with national account teams and third-party rep firms to execute regional growth strategies.

    • Deliver excellent customer experiences by developing customer-specific programs, resolving issues effectively, and earning trust as a strategic partner.

    • Represent GE Appliances’ value through training sessions and product demonstrations that highlight our innovative solutions.

    • Use reporting and analytics tools to measure performance and optimize sales outcomes.

    • Manage and align third-party manufacturer representatives to ensure consistency with business objectives.

    What You'll Bring to Our Team

    **Minimum Qualifications** :

    • 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally within the plumbing or HVAC industry (vendor or distributor).

    • Demonstrated success building and maintaining trust-based relationships with customers, peers, and leadership.

    • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and negotiation skills.

    • Willingness to travel 50%+ within the assigned region.

    **Preferred Qualifications** :

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

    • Experience creating and executing strategic territory growth plans.

    • A solutions-oriented mindset with persistence and creativity in addressing challenges.

     

    _*This role will be remote, located in the Gulf Region, (AL, MS, LA, or FL), and will include 50%+ travel._
