    NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING

    TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR II

    Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants to serve on the IT team as the Technology Systems Administrator II . Positioned within the Department of Technology and shared with Learning Analytics, Data, and Reporting. This position works closely with a team of systems specialists, data analysts and state reporting specialists.

     

    Eden Prairie is a school district with 1,400 employees serving approximately 9,000 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.

    Position Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a computer related field, preferred, or job experience in a similar role.

    + Medium to Strong skills in SQL

    Experience :

    + 2 years of experience, preferred.

    + Demonstrated experience in hardware and software management.

    + Demonstrated knowledge in supporting enterprise technology infrastructure systems.

    + SIS experience: Infinite Campus preferred

    + Identity Management experience

    Qualifications :

    + Ability to understand the current IT environment.

    + Knowledge of Software UI and multimodal data integrations (SFTP, API, etc.)

    + Technical knowledge in multiple of the following areas:

    + Software UIs and multimodal data integrations (SFTP, API, Oneroster, etc.)

    + Identity management

    + SQL

    + HTML

    + Account management and provisioning

    + SIS to other EdTech tool connections

    + Ability to learn new technologies and implement them successfully.

    + Communication skills including writing, speaking, and listening.

    + Ability to involve others in work and inform others of decisions and events.

    + Ability to think broadly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change.

    + Leadership skills with the ability to train and guide junior technology staff.

     

    Position Reports to: Technology Services Coordinator

     

    Start Date: December 29, 2025

    Salary and Benefit Overview:

    Salary EPSS Level IV ($74,559)

     

    Vacation 20 days a year

     

    Holidays 12 paid holidays each year

     

    Life Insurance Life insurance fully paid by the district for an amount equal to twice the employee’s annual base salary

     

    Long Term Disability Insurance Long term disability fully paid by the district

     

    Medical/Hospitalization Medical/hospitalization insurance offered for single and family coverage with low deductibles and generous contributions by the district

     

    Dental Insurance Dental insurance is fully paid by the district for single or family coverage.

     

    Sick Leave 14 days per year cumulative to 254 days
