Your Role:

Our successful Teletimer Operator promote outstanding relations with all guests and fellow Team Members by providing service in a friendly, swift, and responsible manner. They thrive in a team based environment where everyone consistently uplifts and supports each other through detail oriented work and regularly doing what it takes to ensure all necessary work is completed.

Keys to Success in this Role:

+ High school or equivalent.

+ Experience with electronic timing and photo finish systems and related software. Knowledge of horse racing rules regulation and terminology. Must have a keen eye for detail and effective communication skills.

+ Able to work flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays based on the live race and qualifying schedule.

+ Accurately measure, record and report times for horses during races and qualifiers.

+ Set up, calibrate and operate specialized timing and photo finish systems to record race and qualifying times with precision.

+ Accurately log official times for each horse, ensuring results are reliable.

+ Distribute race results to racing officials, participants and spectators in real-time or shortly after the race.

+ Work closely with race officials to verify results, address discrepancies and ensure full compliance with the rules and regulations of horse racing to maintain the integrity of the sport.

+ Perform routine maintenance, testing and minor troubleshooting on timing equipment to make sure it is in perfect working order before, during and after races.

+ Maintain detailed logs and records of all times, equipment use and any technical issues encountered.
