About the role
As a Business Analyst, you will make an impact by acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly documented and implemented. You will be a valued member of the consulting delivery team and work collaboratively with business users, development teams, and clients.
In this role, you will:
+ Integrate Global Mobility processes into workflows and documentation to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
+ Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into functional specifications.
+ Create and manage user stories and epics aligned with Agile methodology using JIRA.
+ Facilitate workshops and discussions to clarify requirements and resolve issues between business and technical teams.
+ Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating deliverables before deployment.
Work Model
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Washington, DC. What you must have to be considered
+ Strong understanding of Global Mobility policies and workflows (must-have).
+ Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
+ Hands-on experience with JIRA for backlog management and issue tracking.
+ Excellent documentation skills for processes, user stories, and epics.
+ Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage priorities.
+ Strong communication and analytical skills.
These will help you succeed
+ Familiarity with HR or relocation processes.
+ Experience facilitating workshops and Agile ceremonies.
+ Knowledge of compliance and process documentation best practices.
