Job Skills / Requirements
We are seeking a Recruitment Screening Specialist to support our recruiting and onboarding operations in New York and New Jersey. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all security officer candidates meet company standards, licensing requirements, and client-specific criteria prior to assignment.
The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recruiting or human resources experience—preferably in the private security, law enforcement, or other regulated industries—and thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment. This position requires is based in Chappaqua NY, and requires travel to our NJ Office as needed.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct initial candidate screenings and verify qualifications.
+ Review applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with role requirements.
+ Coordinate interviews and communicate professionally with applicants regarding their application status.
+ Track and maintain accurate candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
+ Verify documentation such as security licenses, IDs, and required certifications.
+ Submit and monitor background checks and reference verification.
+ Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to ensure hiring and onboarding compliance.
+ Maintain records in accordance with company policy and applicable state regulations.
+ Support recruitment events and other HR administrative activities as needed.
Qualifications
+ Experience: 1–2 years of recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR experience in uniformed Security or similar field.
+ Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Skills:
+ + Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
+ Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations (EEO, ADA, DOL, OSHA).
+ Professional, customer-service-oriented demeanor.
