    General Education Teacher / Behavior Coach | Powers, OR | $45/hr | Full-Time | 22-Week Contract

     

    Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time General Education Teacher / Behavior Coach to support students in Powers, OR. This role begins January 5, 2026 and runs through the end of the 2025–2026 school year.

    Position Overview

    + Location: Powers, OR

    + Start Date: January 5, 2026

    + Duration: 22 weeks

    + Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 36–37.5 hrs/week (occasional Fridays)

    + Caseload: ~120 students, primarily K–6 with Tier 1 behaviors

    + Duties:

    + 80% student-facing (Tier 1–3, mostly mild/mod behaviors)

    + 20% coaching paras and teachers

    + No SPED paperwork or IEP responsibilities

    + Interview Format: Virtual with Powers SD

    + Pay Rate:

    + Local: $45/hr

    + Travel: $1,900–$2,000/week

    + Mileage reimbursement available if floating

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher

    + Valid teaching license (Gen Ed required; SPED experience a plus)

    + Open to LPCs with relevant experience

    + Strong collaboration and coaching skills

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Minimum age: 18
