Job Title: School Psychological Examiner
Job Type: Full-Time
We’re seeking a dedicated School Psychological Examiner to join our team for the upcoming school year. In this role, you’ll conduct evaluations and provide critical insights to support students’ academic, social, and emotional success. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to guide decisions about services and interventions for students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assessment & Evaluation: Administer and interpret psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ cognitive, academic, and behavioral needs.
+ IEP Development: Contribute to the creation and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
+ Consultation & Collaboration: Partner with educators, administrators, and families to recommend strategies, accommodations, and interventions that promote student success.
+ Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze assessment data, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and recommendations.
+ Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to special education and psychological services.
+ Advocacy & Support: Advocate for students’ needs and provide resources to families navigating the special education process.
+ Professional Growth: Stay current with best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in School Psychology or related field
+ Valid Missouri Psychological Examiner Certification
+ Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
+ Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
+ Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
