Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, school-based position in Hueneme, CA. This role is in-person and will support elementary and Pre-K students across multiple school sites.

Position Details:

+ Location: Hueneme, CA

+ Start Date: ASAP

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: 40 hours/week

+ Contract Length: 30 weeks

+ Pay Rates:

+ Local: $85/hour

+ Travel: $3,859/week

+ Setting: Site-wide; travel between school locations required

+ Grade Levels: Elementary and Pre-K

+ Caseload: Details pending from district

Role Overview:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Educational Services (BCBA-ES) provides consultation, training, behavioral evaluations, and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for students with academic and behavioral challenges. This role functions as a clinical educator, observing, assessing, and supervising behavioral service delivery in the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

+ Provide training and consultation to school staff on behavior strategies

+ Monitor and evaluate student progress

+ Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families

+ Ensure compliance with professional standards and school policies

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

+ Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field

+ Preferred experience in school-based behavior analytic services

+ Minimum one (1) year pediatric experience preferred

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB clearance (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray as applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
