Position Description
American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds, is looking for a Reinsurance Senior Director to join our growing team. As a Reinsurance Senior Director, you will be responsible for the oversight of the company\u2019s reinsurance function, including the recurring reporting cycle, managing of trust and investment accounts, managing, and implementing complex reinsurance and profit participation structures, and ensuring all collateral requirements are met within the portfolio. This position will also be leading the company\u2019s growth objectives in reinsurance and other profit participation structures, leading system redesign and implementation, process improvement projects, and overseeing a staff of five individuals. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:-Managing and reviewing the company\u2019s large and complex portfolio, including the cyclical reporting for all reinsurance companies and profit participation arrangements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and supporting collection and cash application initiatives. -Ensure timely settlement of funds, adhering to the company\u2019s policies and procedures as well as contractual obligations. -Provide detailed information on client-specific accounting and claims activities to support sales opportunities and reinsurance negotiations. -Partner with leader of finance and lead company\u2019s growth trajectory in reinsurance and other profit participation programs. -Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other professionals to act as a liaison, resolve issues, review practices\/procedures, and facilitate effective communication. -Support and mentor team, lead or participate in internal and external training sessions, and contribute to the development of operational processes and technology solutions. -Utilize KPI and system tools to manage receivables, funding, reporting, and transactional processes efficiently, ensuring compliance and service excellence. -Participate actively in team and department meetings, sharing knowledge, contributing to process improvements, identifying control issues\/gaps, and fostering strong working relationships.

Requirements
7+ years of professional experience in insurance, reinsurance, or risk management required~^~5+ years of management experience required~^~Bachelor\u2019s degree in relevant field with a completed CPA preferred~^~Industry experience in warranty and\/or automotive preferred~^~Proven ability to work effectively in high-performance teams, managing workload and priorities to meet client and stakeholder expectations~^~Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver clear messages and explain complex subject matter~^~Strong attention to detail and proficiency in mathematics~^~Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
