    Position Summary:

    Winn-Marion is seeking an experienced Regional Service Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Electricians, Automation Technicians, and Service professionals. This role oversees the electrification, automation, and measurement systems supporting oilfield operations. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, automation controls, and instrumentation, paired with proven leadership skills and the ability to build and manage technical teams. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction while driving regional performance and profitability.

    Job Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred.

    + Minimum 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with strong background in automation, controls, and electrification.

    + Proven supervisory or managerial experience in leading technical field teams.

    + Strong understanding of:

    + PLC/RTU programming and troubleshooting for oilfield automation.

    + Power distribution design, VFD/MCC configuration, and electrical commissioning.

    + Instrumentation calibration, including flow, pressure, and temperature devices.

    + SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC).

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of generating technical and operational reports.

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR; willingness to travel regionally as needed.

    + Physically able to perform field duties, including lifting up to 60 lbs and working in varying weather conditions.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Lead, train, and mentor a regional team of electricians and automation technicians to deliver safe, high-quality work.

    + Plan, schedule, and oversee all regional service operations, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budget targets, and client expectations.

    + Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in full compliance with company and regulatory standards.

    + Oversee employee performance management, including coaching, reviews, and disciplinary processes.

    + Build workforce capabilities through recruiting, training, and continuous development.

    + Supervise and coordinate field work, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automation and electrical systems.

    + Design and implement power distribution systems for well pad electrification, including MCCs (Motor Control Centers), VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), and field wiring.

    + Program and troubleshoot PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs, ensuring seamless integration for remote monitoring and control.

    + Configure and calibrate Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) systems, as well as instrumentation for pressure, temperature, and flow.

    + Commission and integrate systems with SCADA platforms using communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and OPC.

    + Maintain compliance with all manufacturer, client, and internal standards for quality, performance, and documentation.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring prompt response to service needs and maintaining strong relationships.

    + Conduct follow-up calls, site visits, and performance reviews to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.

    + Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop accurate quotes, site layouts, and technical proposals.

    + Support regional growth through new business development and consistent delivery of high-quality service.

    + Manage regional financial performance, including P&L oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

    + Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports, work logs, and inventory records.

    + Optimize resource allocation, workforce utilization, and project execution efficiency.

    Other Job Functions:

    + Effectively manage time, follow directions and complete work within specified time.

    + Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certificates.

    + Assist with inventory counts, when needed.

    + Maintain a sound understanding of all industry safety norms and regulations.

    + Properly utilize and care for and secure all company tools, supplies, and vehicles.

    + Efficiently follow orders from Management.

    + May require travel to other company locations for billable work.

    + Checks and responds to all company communications on all scheduled workdays, including voice mail, emails, and text messages. Makes sure that old voice mails are cleared regularly so that the mailbox does not get full.

    + Complies with all applicable Company safety requirements.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Work Conditions:

    + Able to work in different working environments, including extreme weather environments.

    + Able to stand for long periods and endure a lot of physical stamina due to loading and unloading work.

    + Able to perform general office administrative activities of copying, filing, faxing, and using the telephone.

    + Able to climb stairs, work at heights, or in confined spaces.

    + Maintain regular and on-time attendance. Position is 50 hours per week but may exceed 50 hours per week.

    + Travel by company vehicle to work sites over a large geographic area. May require occasional travel by air or vehicle to out of state locations when requested by Company.
