Job Description
Evergreen is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join high-impact team building a next-generation consumer credit card origination platform for one of the largest financial services clients in the world. As the Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll bridge business and technology, driving technical requirements for consumer credit card workflows, real-time integrations with Visa and onboarding partners, and secure DevOps practices. The solution will integrate with Visa and onboarding partners, support real-time credit decisioning, and deliver a seamless servicing workflow including fraud management, statements, and payments. Future phases will integrate additional consumer and commercial cards.
The Business Systems Analyst will be the lead BSA on the team. This individual should have very strong experience gathering technical requirements, writing technical documentation, gathering requirements for card origination and servicing, define integration workflows with onboarding partners and many other groups, support SDLC compliance and API/webook specifications, and collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and various groups across the organization to deliver the consumer card platform. This involves everything from card origination, the card decisioning process, card distribution or dispersion, servicing and operations workflow, online statements, fraud management, and the overall backend data analytics. The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Strong experience in credit card domain (origination, servicing, payments)
- Knowledge of APIs, RESTful services, and real-time integrations
- Familiarity with .NET, Azure, Snowflake, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and backend application development
- Excellent technical documentation and detail orientated
- Analytical skills
Key Responsibilities
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders, financial advisors, and technical teams to define business requirements for credit card origination and servicing workflows.
• Document SDLC compliance artifacts and integration specifications.
• Functional Analysis & Solution Design
• Map end-to-end processes: card application, credit decisioning, KYC, card issuance, servicing, and operations.
• Define adverse action workflows for declined applications.
• Ensure integration with Visa and onboarding partners for real-time transaction processing.
• Integration & Technical Coordination
• Work closely with engineers on API and webhook development for real-time interactions.
• Support data formatting and integration into analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake).
• Assist in designing flows for fraud management, payments, and payoff processes.
• Stakeholder Communication
• Act as liaison between business units and technical teams.
• Provide clear documentation for architectural decisions and integration points.

Skills and Requirements
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a senior Business Systems Analyst
• Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document technical business requirements.
• Experience creating SDLC technical documentation and functional specifications.
• Experience creating SDLC compliance documentation and functional specifications.
• Understanding of APIs, RESTful services, and webhook integrations.
• Exposure to .NET environments and Azure cloud.
• Knowledge of data analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and event streaming (Kafka).
• Proven track record of working on real-time transaction systems and API-based integrations.
• Hands-on experience with credit card origination, servicing workflows, and payment processing.
• Familiarity with Visa/Mastercard integrations and related platforms.
• Ability to define data flows for fraud management, payments, and client analytics.
• SQL experience and able to write complex queries
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
