    In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.

     

    As a Principal Program Planner at BAE Systems, you will develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including but not limited to finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Monitor program schedule performance, track plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Update and prepare reports for customers.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Lead/facilitate the planning, establishment and maintenance of the Performance Measurement Baseline.

    + Communicate schedule guidelines/techniques to program team for IMP/IMS development

    + Ensure that all schedules are fully compliant with internal policies, customer, and industry requirements (DID IPMDAR).

    + Develop and conduct critical and driving path analyses on the baseline schedule in compliance with, internal, customer, and industry requirements

    + Identify trends using common schedule Metrics (DCMA 14pt, BEI, data driven metrics, etc.), suggest corrective actions in a timely manner and supports implementation.

    + Possess a thorough understanding of US DoD schedule policies and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements.

    + Perform Schedule Assessments and Analyses on the baseline IMS to identify schedule risks and opportunities.

    + Review, recommend and implement, as appropriate, schedule work-around or recovery plans in a proactive manner.

    + Routinely assist program management by monitoring SPI/CPI and BEI performance and preparing schedule status reports for customer and/or business management reviews

    + Perform and analyze schedule risk assessments (SRA) as required

    + Train and assist program and proposal teams in preparation for planning sessions and is instrumental in the generation of the program or proposal schedule

    + Ability to develop solutions to complex problems using ingenuity & innovation

    + Strong interpersonal skills to influence diverse work teams

    + Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environment

    + Proficient in MS Project or other Planning SW, MS Excel, and MS Office applications

    Full-time onsite:

    + Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Experience with Cobra, and Schedule Risk SW.

    + Understanding and knowledge with regards to industry Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide (PASEG)

    + Risk management experience

    + Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
