Day to Day:

An employer is looking for a Clinical Application Analyst in the Bellevue, WA area. This analyst will lead smaller and departmental projects and is a technical specialist and consultant during and after application software systems are implemented. Will need to have a thorough understanding of the user's environment and help enable the user to fully maximize administrative, ancillary, nursing, and related clinical and financial systems capabilities to meet the institutional goals of quality patient care, cost containment and operational efficiency. They will oversee implementation and conversion plans & procedures and assist in the development and execution of training plans for all assigned user departments. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: *  Manage incident and service request ticketing queue for Clinical Application Team. *  Participate in Project planning and execution. Includes educating project team on the implementation process and negotiating expectation for the project process and outcomes; coordinates project so that it meets team members' and users mutually agreed upon expectations *  Assembles issues list and facilitates resolution of those issues. Provides ongoing quality assurance review of work plan progress. *  Develops detailed testing plan. Establishes responsibilities of IS and of users in completing the testing plan and ensures that resources are dedicated to the testing process. *  Works with users and IS teams to set up security categories, privileges and sign-on for users. *  Works with users and IS teams to establish backup, maintenance, and production schedules. *  Develops Go-Live plan working in conjunction with users, vendor, Operations and Network Services Departments. *  Thoroughly understands user's environment and how application software can be used to increase efficiencies, cost effectiveness and quality care.

Skills and Requirements

Title: Clinical Applications Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract to hire

Must Haves:

• 3+ years of experience with systems, production, and project support and implementation

• Prior Healthcare experience ideally within Pharmacy, Lab or Surgical

• Previous exposure supporting providers, nurses, etc

• Experience using MS Office Suite

• Experience working with Network & Security architecture

• Strong oral and written skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
