Job Description
We are seeking a CUAS Systems Engineer supporting Product Manager Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) within PEO Missiles and Space (PEO MS). This role provides technical support to the C-UAS Chief Engineer and the C-UAS Interceptor Product Manager, serving as a Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for technical leadership across weapon system design, development, acquisition, integration, fielding, and sustainment.
The candidate will leverage Digital Engineering (DE) tools to manage cost, schedule, and performance for assigned engineering activities, while providing technical guidance to government and contractor systems engineers within PM C-UAS. The position requires cross-organizational collaboration to develop and manage System of Systems (SoS) engineering requirements, integrated master schedules, strategic roadmaps, and milestone documentation supporting contracting and acquisition strategies.
As a CUAS Systems Engineer your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Serve as a C-UAS Systems Engineer within PM C-UAS.
Act as a technical SME in the development of:
System of Systems (SoS) engineering requirements.
Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and strategic technology roadmaps.
Milestone and technical documentation for Army contract requirements packages.
Provide technical support for the design, development, acquisition, integration, testing, Fielding, and sustainment of C-UAS capabilities.
Utilize Digital Engineering tools to manage cost, schedule, and performance for assigned engineering efforts.
Coordinate and interface with internal PMs across PEO MS and external organizations, including:
Army Futures Command, Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs), HQDA, ASA(ALT), RCCTO, ATEC, and AMCOM.
Prepare and deliver technical and programmatic briefings to PM C-UAS leadership, stakeholders, and external partners.
Support strategic planning and coordination to achieve PM C-UAS programmatic and technical objectives.
Apply knowledge of Fire Control systems, Electronic Warfare (EW) efforts, and Rapid Acquisition Authority/UMRs to program activities.
Lead or participate in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve program goals and deliver results in dynamic operational environments.
Perform additional engineering and programmatic tasks as assigned by the APM and Lead Engineer for the Interceptor Team.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline.
5 years of direct experience in systems engineering, preferably within defense or aerospace domains.
Active Secret Security Clearance is it required to start.
Hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and verification/validation.
Proficiency in developing technical briefs, documentation, and system specifications.
Experience with requirements management, systems integration, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts.
Familiarity with radar systems, electromagnetic warfare, or kinetic defeat technologies.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Master’s degree in Engineering or a related STEM field.
10+ years of experience supporting DoD weapon systems or programs.
Prior experience within an Army Program Office or acquisition environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments requiring cross-functional collaboration.
