**Typical Hours:** 8:00AM - 4:30 Monday - Friday with occasional nights and weekends.

**Director of Philanthropy** , responsible for driving fundraising strategies and donor engagement to support our mission. This position oversees major gift programs, annual campaigns, and community outreach, while fostering strong relationships with donors, corporations, and foundations.
The Director works closely with **LRH Leadership** and the **LRH Foundation Board of Directors** to align philanthropic initiatives with organizational priorities. Knowledge of the **Iowa Great Lakes region** and its community is essential for success in this role.
Key Highlights:
+ Lead strategic fundraising and donor stewardship programs.
+ Collaborate with leadership and board members to advance philanthropic goals.
+ Manage events, campaigns, and grant processes.
+ Represent the organization in community and public settings.
Ideal candidates bring proven experience in fundraising, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for building lasting donor relationships.
Experience:
1-3 years of fundraising, with experience in major gift solicitation, capital campaigns, and program management preferred.
Education/Certification/License:
Bachelor's in Business, Communication, Non-Profit Management or similar required. Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) or similar preferred.
