Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
+ Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs.
+ Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout for maximum efficiency.
+ Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of new products.
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
+ Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
+ Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
+ Prepare and maintain documentation for processes, work instructions, and quality control.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in equipment or appliance production.
+ Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks software and familiarity with ERP systems.
+ Ability to react to manufacturing needs or modify project processes as they arise.
+ Ability to manage several projects at different stages of development.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
+ Experience in the commercial cooking or foodservice equipment industry.
+ Knowledge of welding, sheet metal fabrication, metal finishing processes and assembly processes.
+ Familiarity with automation and robotics in manufacturing.
+ Tool and Die knowledge.
