Looking for a FT Medical Esthetician
Summary: Responsible for cosmetic skin services, customer satisfaction, and product sales related to the Facial Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery Section of the Department.
Responsibilities:
• Provides treatment for aging skin, rosacea, acneic, ethnic, and patients with cancer
• Must demonstrate knowledge of cosmetic and skincare products
• Performs skin evaluations • Performs chemical peels
• Performs microdermabrasion • Performs Mirror Imaging
• Performs Hair removal treatment
• Performs camouflage and enhancement make-up application
• Performs Intense Pulse Light device, Photo rejuvenation, face and body
• Successfully promotes and sells related products sponsored by the practice.
• Orders clinical supplies for the Practice, assures that all are current and properly stored
• Assists in procedure room turnover as per protocol
• Ensures compliance with regulatory parameters
• Works to enhance patient satisfaction, patient education, corrective benefits and emotional support. Educates patient on procedures and obtains necessary consent forms related to services.
• Maintains and enters clinical data into EMR. Schedules appointments and performs other related services for cosmetic patients.
• Discusses financial responsibilities with patient relating to cosmetic procedures.
• Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
• Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
Credentials:
+ PA State Licensure for Esthetician (Required)
Education or Equivalent Experience:
+ H.S. Diploma/GED And 0-1 years (Required)
