Summary:
The Reality Labs Entertainment team is seeking an Immersive Operations Manager to spearhead the integration and operationalization of Immersive FX (IFX) across Meta’s Live Operations and Video Platform. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and ensure the seamless execution of high-impact video projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in delivering innovative, immersive experiences to our global audience.
Required Skills:
Immersive Operations Manager Responsibilities:
1. Lead integration, deployment, and management of Immersive FX (IFX) features for live video operations
2. Document processes, develop onboarding resources, and share best practices for IFX implementation and adoption of new technologies
3. Collaborate and communicate with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure IFX tools are robust, scalable, and user-focused
4. Rapidly learn, prototype, and optimize immersive FX features and workflows for live video and real-time media environments
5. Troubleshoot, test, and execute quality assurance for new features and integrations within IFX pipelines
6. Monitor system performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement in immersive media experiences
Minimum Qualifications:

7. 5+ years working with real-time 3D or interactive effects platforms (e.g., game engines, interactive media tools)
8. Proven experience learning new software and technologies quickly
9. Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
10. Track record of effective communication and thorough documentation
11. Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams

13. Hands-on experience with Unity or comparable platforms
14. Background in live video, streaming, or immersive media environments

Public Compensation:
$129,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
