+ The **Business Development Analyst** will work directly with the Business Development Senior Vice President and the SBU executive teams to assist with business capture.
Responsibilities
+ Work directly with the Business Development SVP, Director and executive management teams to identify new business opportunities, customers, and support the teams in the capture of new business.
+ Supports the BD Team and Marketing Manager with marketing brochures, marketing capability presentations, coordinate targeted marketing campaigns including BD and Recruiting Conference support.
+ Identify new business opportunities by performing system research and analysis utilizing GovWin, SAM.gov, Unison Marketplace, FedBizOps FBO.gov, FedConnect, Deltek, and Federal Supplier Portals, GSA Schedules and other systems.
+ Review and develop, develop analytics of potential contracts to bid and produce business development reporting.
+ Supports strategy development and sources competitive intelligence and assist using Co-Pilot AI to develop opportunity evaluation “agents” for potential new opportunities to bid
+ Support industry conferences, site visits and industry days
+ Support SVP and BD Director capture planning by populating Capture Plans for new business opportunities and coordinating capture strategy development initiatives
+ Develop cold call list for Agency contacts, Contracting Officers, CORS and SBA representatives
+ Coordinate in and participate in meetings, data calls, assignments with internal and external teammates and/or GM and other stakeholders.
+ Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis and monitor competitive activity.
+ Support the Business Development Director and proposal team, as required.
+ Supports responses to Requests for Information (RFI), Sources Sought, Solicitations/Requests for Proposals (RFP)/Requests for Quotes (RFQs)/Task Orders, including writing, section leads, coordination, and editing.
+ Support General Managers with GSA Reporting deliverables.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, management, communications or a related field.
+ Degree can be substituted for equivalent combination of education and experience, such as four (4) plus years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, business administration, management, communications, or a related field.
+ Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in government contracting with a focus on business development, business management and process development.
+ Minimum of two (2) years of client relationship management experience, preferred.
+ Minimum of two (2) years proposal writing experience, desirable.
_Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills along with solid interpersonal skills.
+ Exposure to project and program management principles, and the federal government acquisition process.
+ Thorough understanding of DoD’s acquisition directives, required
+ Familiar with acquiring services through the SBA’s 8(a) and Small Business Program process/regulations, preferred
+ Experience with DoD systems: acquisition process and directives, development methodologies and standards, testing procedures, experimentation process, and networking standards, desirable
+ Comprehensive and current understanding of the Facilities, Logistics, Healthcare and Environmental organizations, programs, technologies, budgets and trends for DoD, desirable
+ Experience using formal business development processes and procedures to conduct opportunity identification, qualification, competitive analyses, strategy formulation, opportunity shaping, and customer relations management, required
+ Experience in assisting with opportunity capture strategies, formal capture plans, leading capture execution, and with focus on closing the deal, desirable
+ Experience with proposal writing, preferred
