    This **HVAC Application Engineer II** is responsible for the creation of custom Air-Handling Unit submittals based on customer order specifications, project schedules and job quotations.

    What you will do:

    + Review approved project plans, specifications, and schedules for a varying customer base.

    + Design custom HVAC systems to meet customer demand and industry standards.

    + Manage project scope and bid documentation to identify job specific cost reduction opportunities.

    + Create submittal packages with the level of detail required by the specific customer. Direct consultation with the customer may be required.

    + Host coordination meetings between the factory and other stake holders to define a project’s scope and timeline.

    + Coordinate effectively across disciplines to provide a concise product design. Review submittals processed by others for accuracy.

    + Provide on-time project deliverables.

    + Prepare and manage bills of materials for equipment procurement.

    + Provide engineering support for production. Support includes design drawing reviews, quality audit checks, and basic problem solving/issue resolution.

    + Provide scope definition and coordinate air handler performance testing.

    + Support customer visits and witness testing.

    + Provide feedback to identify opportunities for process efficiency and quality improvements.

    What you will bring:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least 2-years of HVAC or engineering work experience is required.

    Key Competencies:

    + Proficiency in AutoCad is required.

    + Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).

    + Experience with applications of various components used within HVAC systems such as coils, filters, dampers, motors, and fans.

    + Organization and project management skills required to balance multiple concurrent projects.

    + Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong verbal and written communications skills.

    Compensation:

    Pay Range: $65,000 - $118,000 annually
