Description
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the program in the assigned location including staff recruitment, training, and supervision; referral management and intake; data collection and reporting; on-call coordination; case coverage; and necessary administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Staff Recruitment and Training: PHP staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and development in partnership with Director of Partial Hospitalization Programs.
+ Team Administration: Lead team meetings, morning rounds, and treatment team meetings.
+ Staff Supervision: Provide individual and group supervision to staff in the program. The Supervisor is responsible for management of any performance issues or training needed with the assistance of the Director of PHP.
+ Clinical supervision: Provide clinical oversight of PHP cases and ensure documentation and program requirements are met. Consult with clinicians to identify client’s presenting concerns, treatment planning, service delivery, and discharge planning.
+ Referral management: Either directly or through task delegation to staff respond to program inquiries; process, assess, track, and manage referrals and assign cases to clinicians.
+ Direct Services: Provide direct services to clients and families based on needs of program.
+ Data reporting: Either directly or through task delegation to staff, complete data reporting as required by agency, county and OMH.
+ On-call support: Manage on-call scheduling and responsibilities for clinicians and rotate on-call supervisory coverage responsibilities within the PHP supervisory team.
+ Agency and Community Partnership: Represent program in Astor committees as assigned and represent agency in community meetings/committees as assigned.
+ Outreach to community providers and maintain community partnerships.
+ Additional responsibilities related to PHP program management as assigned by the Director of Partial Hospitalization Programs.

Requirements
You must have:
+ New York licensed mental health clinician (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LMHC-D, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD) with relevant experience in child, adolescent, and family therapy, as well as mental health crisis intervention.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office.
+ Recruit, train, supervise, and manage PHP clinical and support staff.
+ Provide clear and empathic communication to youth and families in crisis.
+ Employ critical thinking skills to assess, diagnosis and triage clients appropriately.
+ Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; maintain satisfactory working relationships with others; demonstrate patience, tact and courtesy; work independently and organize their workday efficiently.
+ Meet deadlines, ensure compliance with agency policies, and oversee completion and timely maintenance of agency records.
+ Utilize and expand knowledge of community-based mental health, social services, and support programs.
+ Effectively support and supervise staff within the scope of their license and defined program responsibilities.
You should have:
+ Experience with the population served preferred.
