The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared **Cybersecurity Engineer** to support an Army Program Executive Office located on **Ft. Belvoir, VA** . Provide senior level cybersecurity and architectural leadership by advising on tactical security design, modernization, and policy alignment. Drive software modernization initiative in accordance with DoD/Army modernization frameworks, ensuring alignment with Cloud, Trust Zero, and digital transformation strategies. Lead integration of cybersecurity best practices into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring secure software delivery, automated control validation, and compliance with DoD and Army DevSecOps frameworks. Serve as a technical authority bringing cyber engineering, acquisition, and operational readiness, translating strategic objectives into actionable technical and security deliverables.
_An active DOD Secret security clearance is required. Work is onsite at Ft Belvoir, but a hybrid schedule may be authorized._
Responsibilities:
• Translate military operational and mission requirements (ground, sea, air, and space) into practical systems concepts and design performance requirements.
• Evaluate and conduct design efforts from a cybersecurity view point to ensure integration of all required cybersecurity products and adequacy of the analyses.
• Prepare and review cybersecurity related test plans, procedures, and reports on technical adequacy on assigned programs, for both Government and contractor tests, as well as related failure reports.
• Support Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) testing and evaluation activities, ensuring systems meet interoperability, cybersecurity, and compliance standards prior fielding.
• Oversee software assurance and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) development to enhance transparency, detect vulnerabilities, and meet DoD supply chain and trust zero mandate.
• Review and evaluate system performance against cybersecurity related specification requirements, monitor and assess field performance, and assess risk of meeting user and specification requirements.
• Prepare and evaluate cybersecurity security strategies for requested programs.
• Perform security, analyses and risk/vulnerability assessments.
• Execute day to day certification and accreditation activities for a project team.
• May participate in post awards, program reviews, design reviews, and IPTs as the cybersecurity specialist/engineering on assigned programs.
Qualifications:
_Required:_
• **Active Secret Security Clearance** .
• BS in Cybersecurity or equivalent and >10 years of relevant experience.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Experience in operational Cybersecurity accreditation and certification of embedded systems accredited at Secret level and below.
• Understanding of AR 25-2 and the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include actually current experience (less than 2 years old) in obtaining system accreditation using the DoD RMF and the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) software.
• Experience preparing recommended IA approval and supporting information documentation and understand systems engineering processes and possesses extensive experience in Network Security Architect experience.
• Understanding of the DoD standards guiding the development of cybersecurity policy, requirements, integration, engineering, and certification and accreditation.
_Desired:_
• MS in Cybersecurity or equivalent and >5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting an Army Project or Product Management office.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$103,800 - $218,100
