Senior Change Control Board Manager
The **Senior** **Change Control Board Manager** is responsible for managing the lifecycle of change requests (CRs) from intake through approval and implementation. This role ensures that changes are processed efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with organizational governance and strategic objectives. Provides support to the Change Manager as required to facilitate review and approval of change requests by internal stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Intake & Documentation**
+ Oversee the submission and completeness of change requests using standardized forms and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Power BI).
+ Ensure all required information—business rationale, impact, risk, budget, and schedule—is accurately captured before review.
+ **Impact Assessment Coordination**
+ Facilitate cross-functional impact assessments, engaging all affected teams to evaluate cost, schedule, and operational implications.
+ Document mitigation strategies for medium and high-impact changes.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement & Socialization**
+ Drive pre-read communications and meeting preparation, ensuring all impacted teams are informed and engaged ahead of CCB sessions.
+ Coordinate proxy assignments and ensure voting domains are represented.
+ **Governance & Approval Workflow**
+ Advance eligible change requests to executive review based on established thresholds.
+ Maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with CCB policies and service-level agreements (SLAs).
+ **Reporting & Continuous Improvement**
+ Update change logs, track CR statuses, and follow up on outstanding assessments or approvals.
+ Recommend process improvements and support training for new change owners and impacted teams.
Education and Experience
Required:
• 5+ years’ experience in information technology project management across diverse application areas and
• technologies.
• 3+ years’ experience in leading project teams and implementing enterprise application packages in distributed
• environments
• Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certification
• Experienced with Power BI (sourcing requirements and creating dashboard for insights) and Smartsheets
Preferred:
• Graduate degree.
• Project Management Certification, Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Product Owner, or Certified Scrum
• Professional with active experience in serving in this capacity
• Experience working in highly-complex and fast-paced environments
• Agile Team Participation
• Ability to speak in front of large audiences and facilitate large, multi-day ceremonies
• Demonstrated record of managing internal and external projects from inception to successful implementation.
• Solid understanding of current technologies with the ability to develop and deliver projects using leading edge
• technologies.
• Ability to align change management strategies with project.
• Skilled in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting/selling them to senior
• management.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Extremely high level of analytical ability to resolve complex and difficult issues.
• Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output
• in a team environment.
