This role will provide assistance to the Operations Team at Hawaii Research Center in **Waimea, HI** with a focus on Sampling and Seed Processing tasks. Some of these tasks include tagging, sampling, and operating processing lines. This role will have a combination of indoor and outdoor activities across three sites (Kekaha, Wahiawa, Waimea) depending on the workload, requiring flexibility.

What You'll Do:
+ Ensure a safe work environment by complying with all EHS&S policies, wearing required PPE, participating in safety activities, mitigating risks, following procedures, promptly communicating concerns or hazards.
+ Perform seed handling and sampling tasks using available equipment and technology to meet quality, quantity and timeline targets. Duties include but are not limited to seed processing, tagging, sampling, and other operational assignments.
+ Maintain reliable and punctual attendance. Work Overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
+ Communicate effectively and timely with supervisors. Report equipment issues, injuries, or concerns as soon as possible.
+ Follow regulatory compliance
+ Adhere to Company Core Values. Promote a supportive and inclusive workplace by collaborating across teams to achieve shared goals and maintain a positive team environment.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Participate in work related training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Support training / leading of contingent workers.
+ Other duties as assigned.
What Skills You Need:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Able to work on your feet (standing or walking) for prolonged periods
+ Tolerance and ability to work in a hot indoor environment and outdoor tropical setting.
+ Perform tasks with repetitive motions
+ Able to wear hearing protection and safety glasses for extended periods of time
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Excel, PowerApps, etc).
+ Willing and able to learn seed processing equipment /software/apps
+ Minimum of one or two years of relevant experience in agriculture is preferred
+ Valid driver license is preferred
+ Ability to communicate in English (both written and verbal)
+ Attention to detail
+ Team player and excellent interpersonal skills
+ Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks safely
+ Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Adaptable to change.

The salary range for this position is $50,166.00 to $55,740.00.
This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
