Koniag Data Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Systems Developer (Mid) to support KDS and our government customer in Washington D.C.

This position will support system maintenance, feature development, and federal collaboration to support mission-critical data operations and security standards.
The System Developer will be responsible for developing and implementing automated solutions across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
Monthly Reporting Management:
+ Oversee the full monthly reporting lifecycle for the data warehouse platform, including data gathering, ingestion, transformation, validation, and dissemination
+ Develop and maintain automated workflows for report generation and secure data housing
+ Ensure all datasets and reports meet accuracy, timeliness, and compliance standards established by federal agency requirements
User Support and Service Operations:
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for all platform user support requests and incident tickets
+ Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve platform, data, and access-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
+ Track and analyze recurring issues to identify systemic improvements and prevent future disruptions
+ Maintain clear communication with end-users to ensure a positive and transparent support experience
Application Maintenance and Feature Development:
+ Maintain and enhance multiple C# data warehouse applications, including privacy, compliance, and authentication modules
+ Design, implement, and test new features aligned with evolving program and compliance needs
+ Conduct code optimization, refactoring, and integration efforts to improve performance and scalability
+ Collaborate with internal and federal security teams to ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity and data protection standards
Security and Vulnerability Remediation:
+ Identify, prioritize, and resolve CVE vulnerabilities affecting the data warehouse platform
+ Apply software patches, dependency upgrades, and security hardening measures to mitigate risks
+ Perform post-remediation validation, documentation, and reporting for audit readiness
+ Coordinate with cybersecurity and compliance personnel to maintain FISMA and NIST framework adherence
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Documentation:
+ Develop, maintain, and update SOPs, technical guides, and system documentation to reflect current operations
+ Ensure documentation remains clear, accurate, and accessible for technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Support knowledge sharing and onboarding by providing up-to-date process and platform materials
Collaboration and Coordination with Federal Personnel:
+ Partner with federal program managers, data stewards, and IT teams to align platform objectives with agency goals
+ Participate in interdepartmental and cross-agency meetings to share updates, address dependencies, and enhance coordination
+ Ensure secure and compliant data sharing between federal systems and the data warehouse platform
+ Uphold professional communication and maintain compliance with federal IT governance and operational standards
Qualifications:
+ Oracle experience preferred.
+ Significant relational database experience required.
+ Development expertise in .Net, C#, Git, Visual Studio, Node, Visual Studio Code, and PL/SQL.
+ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software systems and windows deployment environments.
+ Ability to work quickly and efficiently on multiple projects.
+ Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
+ High level of attention to detail.
+ Ability to work on-site in Washington D.C
