What You'll Do
Bring your design skills to the business side. In this role, you’ll create high-quality, visually compelling materials that help our Retirement & Income Solutions team tell our story to clients and advisors. From pre-sale presentations to client rebids and firm relations initiatives, your work will directly support how we win and retain business.
Types of things you’ll do:
+ Design and develop visually engaging materials for sales, pre-sale, and advisor presentations that clearly communicate complex retirement solutions and investment concepts.
+ Support client rebid efforts by creating customized, brand-aligned decks and visuals that highlight key value propositions.
+ Partner closely with sales and relationship management teams to understand audience needs and translate them into high-quality, on-brand design deliverables.
+ Collaborate across the business to ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and visual execution.
+ Stay current on design best practices, creative tools (Adobe Creative Cloud), and visual storytelling techniques to elevate client-facing materials.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Who You Are
+ Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
+ 2+ years of professional graphic design experience required. Experience supporting sales, creating client presentations or financial/retirement content is preferred.
+ Strong creative eye with the ability to turn business concepts and data into clear, compelling visuals.
+ Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, and strategic decision-making skills are essential.
+ Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
+ Familiar with a wide range of other design software.
+ Keep up to date on creative trends and technologies. Knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
+ Demonstrated graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
+ Proficient in all aspects of graphic design including but not limited to: layout design, typography, content hierarchy, stock photo selection and editing, illustration selection, editing, and creation.
+ Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects on tight timelines.
+ Comfortable collaborating with both business and creative teams; professional communication skills are a must.
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$25.96 - $47.31 / hour
Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.

Our global headquarters in Des Moines, IA. Working a hybrid schedule (three days in office) in Des Moines is highly preferred, but open to remote talent as well.
